
Step1: You and you spouse have to come TOGETHER and file a written application with the probate court in your county.
All applicants are required to provide their social security cards
Applicants under the age of 25 are required to provided one piece of identifications which can be a Valid Driver’s License, Birth Certificate, SC Identification Card, Military ID, or a passport.
Step 2: Wait out the twenty-four hour waiting period after the application before the license can be picked up.
No blood test is required
No Residency required
Step 3: Find a minister, a rabbi, or an an officer authorized to administer oaths in the state of South Carolina to marry you!
Note: A South Carolina marriage license is valid only for marriages performed in South Carolina.
