Some couples may even entrust a planner with the duty to making wedding arrangements on their behalf. A planner does typically include day of services as well.

 

The role of a wedding designer is often confused with the role of a wedding planner since many planners do also offer design as a part of their service. However, most designer do not offer planning as a part of theirs. A designer’s role is to take charge of wedding décor and rentals. They handle things such as floor plans, floral arrangements, lighting and such. Designers often have experience as florists or interior design.

 

A wedding coordinator, often referred to as a Day of Coordinator, will handle all of the final details of your event. He or she will take over where you left off about 30-45 days prior to your wedding date and tie any loose ends. They will coordinate your vendors and your timeline, and they will become your point of contact for the big day. All concerns are placed on the shoulders of your wedding coordinator on the day of your wedding so that you can focus on having fun and enjoying the company of your guests.
